Dr. Lucy McShane embarked upon her medical journey as a graduate entry student at UCD, culminating in the attainment of her degree in 2015. Before delving into the realm of medicine, she acquired a primary degree in business from the esteemed Trinity College Dublin. Dr. McShane proceeded to immerse herself in General Practice training through the Dublin/Mid Leinster GP training scheme, culminating in her triumphant completion in 2021.
Throughout her training, Dr. McShane traversed a labyrinth of rotations spanning various medical disciplines, including but not limited to Geriatric Medicine, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, and General Medicine. Her steadfast dedication to specialization is evidenced by her acquisition of a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the esteemed Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). Additionally, she boasts a Certificate in Contraception and has undergone comprehensive LARC training, encompassing the intricate procedures of Implanon insertion/removal and coil insertion/removal. Dr. McShane presides over her well-woman clinic with aplomb, dedicating her Mondays to offering comprehensive and specialized healthcare services at the esteemed D2 Fitzwilliam Square Medical Centre. Andrew is the lead practitioner chartered physiotherapist of Raglan Sports Medicine at D2 Medical with Dr John J Ryan. A Certified Athletic Therapist with Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI) and Chartered Physiotherapist with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), he previously worked as a rehabilitation specialist with Dr Conor P. O’Brien, Consultant Neurophysiologist and Physician in Sports and Exercise Medicine, at the Raglan Clinic.
He graduated with honours from a BSc Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation degree in IT Carlow after completing his internship in Texas A&M University in College Station, USA. He has also obtained a second primary degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. He received his MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Glasgow under the tutelage of Prof. Stuart Hillis, renowned cardiologist and expert in sports medicine, in 2011. Andrew is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and an accredited member of BASRaT. In 2012, Andrew became one of the first Athletic Therapists in the country to be accredited by the Irish Sports Council and accepted on to the High Performance Panel of Performance Sports Services.
He has experience treating and training people from all walks of life including several athletes who competed in the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Previously a keen rugby player, he has remained heavily involved in the sport and has been the Head of Physiotherapy to Suttonians RFC since 2010 along with consulting for other sports teams in Dublin. Andrew is constantly educating himself in the latest research and techniques in order to pass on the best quality treatment to his patients. This has led him to introduce therapies into Ireland and produce peer-reviewed literature on its efficacy. Andrew and John have worked as a team for over 4 years. Only in the most difficult of cases will john go forward and free up a joint for Andrew with a steroid joint injection in his sports medicine practice in D2 Medical

Dr. Casey runs her Well Woman Clinic on a Friday at The D2 Medical 4 Fitzwilliam Square East Dublin 2 from 9 am to 5 pm. Noelle graduated from University College Dublin in 2009. After her internship at St Vincent’s University Hospital, she spent a year working in Sydney Australia, in emergency medicine before returning to Ireland where she completed her medical memberships with RCPI. She subsequently trained in UCD/Mid Leinster vocational GP training scheme. Dr. Casey worked for nearly two years in Vancouver,Canada as a Family Physician before returning to Ireland in 2020. She has a special interest in women’s health and holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. She is trained in LARC (Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives) and can insert/remove subdermal implants. Dr. Casey also has a Diploma in Child Health.
Dr Jessica Barnes runs her Well Woman Clinic on a Thursday at The D2 Medical 4 Fitzwilliam Square East Dublin 2 from 9 am to 5pm. Jessica graduated from University College Dublin in 2011. After her internship, Dr Barnes spent a year working in Perth Australia, in emergency medicine before returning to Ireland to commence the UCD/Mid Leinster vocational GP training scheme. Dr Barnes worked in Peadiatrics, General Medicine, Psychiatry, Medicine for the Elderly and Emergency Medicine in Dublin hospitals prior to graduation from the Leinster GP scheme. Jessica has a special interest in women’s health and holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. She is trained in LARC (Long Acting Reversible Contracepives) and can insert/remove subdermal implants.
Dr Caoimhe Daly runs her Well Woman Clinic at the D2 Medical 4 Fitzwilliam Square East every Wednesday from 9am to 5pm. She is a graduate of University College Dublin and the Leinster GP training scheme. She also has a certificate in contraception from the ICGP and is a specialist in the insertion of both mirena and copper coils. Dr Daly has did all her hospital rotations in Dublin hospitals in the areas of Emergency Medicine, Peadiatrics, General Medicine, Psychiatry and Endocrinology. She has also trained in Austraila at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. Dr Daly also inserts and removes the subdermal contraceptive implant Implanon.

We have a policy of bringing executive health screening into the heart of the community, our 20 point health screen is streamlined so as it will never take more than 60 minutes. We also offer appointments from 830 am in the morning to accommodate your hectic work schedule so you will not have to take time off work. All our blood samples are into the labs at 1.30pm every day with our express courier service. We normally send a written report to you within 16 days of your health screen or if you prefer you can call back into the office 15 days later to have a medical doctor go through all the reports with you in person, the choice is yours.
